ACRIS Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ACRIS is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and handling personal information in a responsible and transparent manner. This policy applies to all personal information collected by ACRIS in the course of providing professional services, including restructuring, insolvency related advisory services and associated compliance work.

ACRIS operates primarily within Australia and is governed by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

From time to time, ACRIS may deal with individuals or entities located outside Australia. Where this occurs, personal information will still be handled in accordance with this policy and Australian privacy standards.

ACRIS does not collect or store identification documents such as passports or drivers licences.

ACRIS does not collect personal information via SMS or unsolicited document uploads.

ACRIS may send marketing communications as well as service related communications.

Recipients are provided with the ability to opt out of non essential marketing communications at any time. Service related communications that are necessary to deliver professional services may continue where legally required.

Analytics data does not identify individuals personally and is used in aggregate form only.
